Craft Warehouse DT assignment 4

I'm a bit late in sharing these projects from our 4th assignment from Craft Warehouse,  but better late than never right?  I received Simple Stories AWESOME line, and here are my projects.

Our first assignment was to create a simple layout using a divided page protector.  The Simple Stories papers included sheets that are printed intended for use in such divided layouts.  I used very little embellishmnets, which is a challenge to any scrapbooker that uses lots of embellishments.  I ended up layering a few flowers and attaching to the outside the page protector to add some feminine touches and tie the layout together.

On the second layout I managed to include a piece of each of the patterened papers that came with the kit.  I also used one of the coordinating transperancies, these are cool since they are clear with some printed pattern on portions of it.  The title was white thickers that I painted with a coordinating color.  I used pop up adhesive under some of the stickers to add dimension and I twisted the ribbon to create interest.

The final part of the assignment was to create a card.  When I saw the transparencies I thought of doing this shadow box card.  A few scores and folds and you have a unique card for any occassion.  I used a die to cut the circle in the center then trim and attached the transparencie to the inside front of the card.  Add some  patterened paper to the inside back of the card and some stickers and pop up adhesive.  Embellish the front and aattach the front and back together.  Check out my Shadow Box Card Tutorial on the Craft Warehouse blog for step by step details on creating this card.
