A while back I found this awesome tutorial on the Scor-Pal blog. It was for a shadow box made from a piece of 12 x 12 cardstock. I fell in love with it and had to try it for myself.
Here is a view for the front, when it is closed. I made the shadow box and then covered the front and with an extra piece of cardstock and patterned paper. Then I embellished the cover. The flowers are from Prima and all were originally white (with the exception of the little yellow rose). I used glimmer mist to add color. The sprayer on my red mist was clogged so I used a paint brush instead.
Here's the inside. I made two shadowboxes using the tutorial found here. For the banner pieces I used some chipboard shapes from Maya Road's as the template and cut the shapes from patterned paper. I wanted this to be able to close flat so didn't want to use chipboard.
